Au Tour De Monde is like a travel book shop you want it to be. You will find you'll an immense offer of travel guide books, travel literature, travel maps and more.

El Market is an eco-friendly responsible fashion concept store. Boutique Libertie for similar fashion vibes like Sezane but slightly better for your wallet.


Boutique L'Appartement Sézane & Octobre the Sezane store needs no further explanation. Shop till you drop.

Boulangerie Mathieu. When the French queue, you know. We went twice for a pain au chocolat. Perfecty located around the corner from the Okko Hotels.


Bart Sandwiches Lille with to die for Italian focaccia sandwiches.

Detail Lille is a unique corner grocery store doubling as a tearoom that doesn't skimp on the retro-cool and brick walls, fiercely mismatched furniture, grandma's drapes. This is a nice little place not to miss.

Les Compagnons de la Grappe - there is alway something around the corner. Suber busy when we passed by the restaurant. Les Compagnons de la Grappe in Lille is known for its warm ambiance and exceptional French cuisine.

Restaurant Le Bloempot - always fully booked and a must-visit for those seeking a unique and contemporary dining French cuisine experience in the Lille.


Restaurant Le Presentoir Lille - Located in Lille's historic center, Le Presentori is known for its elegant presentations and seasonal menu, showcasing the finest local produce. There are a few tables downstairs or you can sit at the bar. Upstairs is also a nice athmosphere.


Restaurant Sebastopol is a gastronomic haven in Lille with a menu that evolves with the seasons and a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Populair for a reason.



The Best Wine Bars in Lille


Wine Bar Au Gre Du Vin- we absolutely loved this cute wine bar which was recommended by the locals. We had different Vins, charcuterie et fromages. J'adore.

Wine Bar Monsieur Jacques - Wine enthusiasts are in for a treat at Monsieur Jacques in Lille. This establishment is dedicated entirely to all things wine. Here, you'll find some stunning examples and wines sourced from various regions across France. Their are wine tasting sessions, and the food menu pairs perfectly with the wines which you can take home too.


Wijnbar Les Freres Pinard - Lille has the cutest wine bars. And the quaint Rue Des Vieux Murs is the place to be.


The Best Things To Do in Lille (Rijsel)


La Gare Saint Sauveur is a former railway station in Lille (Rijsel) and has been transformed into a dynamic cultural venue with a range of exhibitions, events, and installations, making it a hub for contemporary art and cultural experiences in the heart of the city. Bazaar St So is nestled in the iconic Gare Saint Sauveur of Lille.


Stroll through Parc de la Citadelle and visit the English Garden at Jardin Vauban. Go for a drinks or food at Le Bus Magique or Oasis. Visit the Lille Zoo or any of the playgrounds if you are with little ones.




Port de Wambrechies is located near Lille, France. It is a picturesque port area situated along the Deûle River. The port is about a 15-minute drive from the city center of Lille.


Rue Des Vieux Murs one of Lille's most beautiful streets with trendy Tamper for coffee and breakfast, second hand pre loved shops Jolis Caprices, wine bars Au Gre du Vin and  Les Frères Pinard, speciality beer bar L'Abbaye des Saveurs and nice restaurants like La Tiendita Lille. So much to explore. Go and check it out.


The Wazemmes Food Hall, located in the vibrant Wazemmes neighborhood of Lille, is a bustling marketplace offering an array of fresh, local produce, gourmet delights, and artisanal products. You will also find Café Aux Halles provides a charming respite, where visitors can savor a cup of coffee opposite the market hall.


On your way home from Lille to the Netherlands you can also stop in Roubaix and visit La Piscine Museum (Roubaix) an unique museum housed in a converted Art Deco swimming pool. Next door you'll find Food - La Cantine and some small independent shops.


We also briefly explored Halles de La Maillerie and did some secondhand shopping at La Confection Des Halles
