Hotel Zest The Hague Scheveningen

Sometimes, you’re not just looking for a hotel, you’re looking for a feeling. Light. Calm. Space. Hotel Zest in Scheveningen delivers exactly that. A boutique hotel where everything feels effortless, from the design to the atmosphere. No over-the-top luxury, just a thoughtful aesthetic and a relaxed vibe that makes you slow down instantly. We spent a wonderful weekend in one of the spacious family rooms, and it felt like a home by the sea.

Located just a few minutes’ walk from Scheveningen’s beach and dunes, Hotel Zest strikes the perfect balance between city and seaside. Wake up to soft morning light, stroll the boulevard in the afternoon, and end the day dining in The Hague’s vibrant city center. It’s the kind of place that makes both a quick city break and a longer seaside escape feel effortlessly special.

Design Hotel Zest Scheveningen

Step inside and you immediately notice the serenity of the interiors. Large windows, soft natural colors, and warm materials create a light and open atmosphere. The style feels Scandinavian with a modern twist: minimalistic, functional, and inviting. Here, design serves the stay, not the other way around. Every corner is carefully considered, making it a space you can truly relax in.

Hotspots near Hotel Zest, The Hague Scheveningen

My tips for great spots in the area. Cafe Constant is the charming neighborhood pub just around the corner. It's perfect for enjoying breakfast and coffee on the terrace in the sun, or having a drink in the evening. Koffiekiosk het Pleintje is a nostalgic spot where you can get quick filter coffee, toasted sandwiches, and meatball sandwiches, without any trendy fuss.

The Zeeheldenkwartier is one of the most lively neighborhoods in The Hague, filled with lovely coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques to shop in. Do go and check out Bartine, a lovely café with delicious coffee, bread and pastries.
