Looking for the best breakfast and brunch spots in Krakow? During my stay in the city, I discovered some lovely cafés, bakeries and breakfast places, particularly around Kazimierz and the Old Town.
One of my personal favourites is Poranki Cafe in Kazimierz, where we enjoyed breakfast so much that we returned for a second visit. From cosy cafés and freshly baked pastries to stylish brunch spots, here are my favourite places for breakfast in Krakow, including a few more worth adding to your list.

Best Breakfast in Krakow Old Town
Krakow Old Town has plenty of places for breakfast, from cosy cafés and French-style bistros to bakeries for coffee and pastries. Many are within walking distance of the Main Market Square, making this an easy area to start your day before exploring the city.
A Nordic inspired cafe for breakfast and brunch in Krakow. The whole menu looks delicious. So maybe you want to come back more than once.
A very cozy cafe in Krakow Old Town. Cafe Camelot Lulu has bistro chique Parisian atmosphere, where you can enjoy breakfast or coffee with cake. They bake bagels and challahs since the early hours of the morning, serving soufflés and omelets. Also check out Camelot Cafe.
The charming French bistro Charlotte on Plac Szczepański serves freshly baked bread, pastries, croissants, and bagels. It's so delicious! Who's up for champagne with breakfast? Additionally, there's another location, Bistro Charlotte Menora, situated in the heart of Kraków’s Kazimierz district, inspired by a Jewish bakery. I visited the Warsaw location and absolutely loved it.
Humus galore at Restaurant Hummus Amamamusi. From the classic hummus to special flavours like jalapeño, sun-dried tomato, coriander, and roasted garlic and seasonal specialty hummuses like pumpkin and rhubarb. This vegetarian and vegan restaurant is a great addition to the Kazimierz neighbourhood. Go for delicious breakfast or brunch with hand-made sandwiches and wraps with lots of hummus.

Around the corner from Massolit Books you will find Massolit Bakery & Cafe. Famous for their vegan croissants and yummy bagels with a minimal interior.
An amazing bakery for breakfast in Podgorze Krakow. At Piekarnia Miejska they bake breads using natural sourdough. No yeast, no enhancers. For rye breads they add honey and flaxseed, for other breads they add sunflower, pumpkin and sesame or just nigella. Wheat breads have cheddar sometimes roquefort, olives, herbs, lemon zest in addition to holes. Recommended.
Just outside Krakow old town, Meho Cafe has a lovely hidden garden that feels very quiet and relaxed. The perfect spot for breakfast (served till 13.00).
Mo-ja Cafe & Bistro is a cozy corner in Krakow to start the day with breakfast, with a latte, fresh baked pastry, or a yummy sesame bagel or salad.
Close to the Krakows main station, Wesola Cafe is a perfect place for a coffee and a bagel for breakfast.

Kazimierz was my favourite area for breakfast in Krakow.. Ranny Ptaszek is a vegetarian favorite, while Alchemia od Kuchnia and Kolanko No. 6 offer creative, filling breakfasts. Bistro Bazaar pairs fresh bread with bubbly, and my favourite Poranki Cafe adds inventive twists. All-day bagels await at Bagelmama, chic bites at Charlotte, and stylish comfort at Mak Bread & Coffee in the PURO Hotel Kazimierz where we stayed.
Two streets away from PURO hotels, this is a cute and lovely breakfast place in Kazimierz. We went twice, that maybe says enough ;-) Also good for coffee and cake. Top pick.
Breakfast and Brunch in Podgórze Kraków
Podgórze brims with tempting breakfast choices, from French-style pastries at Nad & Greg to hearty egg dishes at Cawa Cafe & Wine. Targowa 2 is perfect for a pre-museum bite when visiting Schindler's Factory, while Massolit Bakes tempts early risers with bagels and cinnamon rolls. In Zabłocie, Knitted Coffee offers light plates, and weekends bring indulgent Eggs Benedict at Orzo or Mexican flavors at Mustachos.
