Nice Things To Do Noldes Hygge Hjem

Of course, Debby also has great recommendations to explore South Jutland. Apart from the tips below, the Viking town Ribe and the island of Rømø are also more than worth a visit. Both are an hour's drive from Noldes. And for hiking enthusiasts, follow one of the many trails at Flensborgfjørd, where the Gendarmstien is the most famous hiking trail.

Tønder, South Jutland, Denmark

Tønder is a small cute town, just across the border in Denmark, next to the village Møgeltonder. Walk down the main street and visit the famous Det Gamble Apothek (The Old Pharmacy). Here you can buy the cutest nostalgic Christmas decorations, candles (Danes love them) and other decoration and birthday goodies for your house. Opposite is the cute Klostercaféen. Perfect for a cup of coffee, tea with cake or lunch. In the evening, go for dinner at Cafe Victoria, a cosy brown cafe.

Møgeltonder, South Jutland, Denmark

This small cozy town with the beautiful main street Slotsgaden is a little gem. On this street you can find antique shop Butik Slotsgaden and Mormors Lille Cafe, also known as Grandma's little cafe and very cute and adorable.

The main to highlights of this little village are The Møgeltonder Kirke with its beautiful frescoes and Schackenborg Slot, a royal castle and gardens, onces home to the youngest son of Queen Margrethe. The perfect first stop when visiting Denmark.

Aabenraa, South Jutland, Denmark

If you like thrift shops, pay a visit to Loppelet. I bought a lovely mirror for the garden. Aabenraa itself is also a nice place to visit. For coffee and cake or lunch, go to the cosy Cafe Agnes. Nice shops can be found on the main high street. Don't forget to visit the cute tea shop Fam. Carstensen Tehandel.

Gråsten Palace, South Jutland

Gråsten Palace is one of the Danish royal family's summer residences, but the park is also open to the public. The castle is located on the Flensburg Fjord on the Sundeved peninsula.
