Bremen Germany

Bremen is a captivating city that effortlessly blends medieval charm with a modern creative atmosphere, making it the perfect stop on your way to Denmark. I enjoyed one day and one night in Bremen before continueing my trravels to South Jutland Denmark.

In Bremen you want to see the preserved old town, where the UNESCO-listed Town Hall amongst other buildings stands on the bustling market square, offering a glimpse into the city’s Hanseatic past. There is also the famous statue of the Bremen Town Musicians, inspired by the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Wander through the fairytale-like Schnoorviertel, around the Bottchergasse, with its narrow lanes and centuries-old houses.

Fancy something a bit more modern and creative? Explore the vibrant Das Viertel between ''Ostertor and Steintor'' and Neustadt neighbourhoods, where hip cafés, street art, and indie boutiques give Bremen its youthful, creative pulse.
