City Guide Breda

Breda is so much fun! With the same vibes as Den Bosch, you can spend a wonderful weekend in Breda. Go for drinks on the Grote Markt, delicious dining at the lovely restaurants Blossem or Alma Bistro, and go shopping at Lila the Store.

Done with Breda Center? Then also check out the beautiful neighborhood of Het Ginneken, in the south of Breda. Here you will find the nicest boutique restaurants, cafes, coffeeshops and boutique fashion shops. An upmarket neighbourhood in Breda. Located on the edge of the beautiful big Mastbos forrest, I would definitely spend a morning and afternoon here.

Hotels Breda

Leonardo Hotels Breda - Staying at Leonardo City Hotel is the perfect basis for your city trip. Housed in an old post office, next to the train station, this is the perfect location to discover Breda. We slept in a spacious Deluxe double room with a lovely large double bed and a nice large en-suite bathroom. Drinks are at the cute bar in the lobby or on the outdoor terrace. Dinner and breakfast is at restaurant Chefs! Food & Drinks with a nice open kitchen. We had a top-notch stay.

Restaurants Breda

Restaurant Alma Bistro Breda - In 2024, Alma Bistro opened in a monumental building in the center of Breda. Well known is Alma in Oisterwijk (open since 2019). Alma Oisterwijk has two different dining options: a restaurant and a bodega. The Breda bistro has two floors, a romantic courtyard garden and a cozy bar. We had a delicious meal in Oisterwijk, so Alma Breda is definitely something we will come back for.

Restaurant 5. by Cas - We had a delicious dinner at 5 by Cas. A nice classy restaurant in Breda. Restaurant 5. by Cas is described as Homemade. Pure. Personal. Raw. Tough. Only fresh ingredients are used every day. 5 choices with every option. 5 times the fun!

Restaurant Blossem Breda - Seasonal, pure and honest food; that's what Restaurant Blossem is all about. The chefs work with daily fresh produce and bright flavors. With a menu that moves with the season and has an eye for the future. Restaurant Blossem is located in the boiler house of the old Nibb-it factory in Breda. I can't wait to dine here.

Kej Caban Restaurant - The hipster Mexican restaurant Kej Caban is on the list for next week. I'll let you know how it was.

Restaurant Il Limone - Il Limone is a unique Italian deli and restaurant in one. Here you'll find the best products from all over Italy. Also served in the osteria restaurant. Check it out on Instagram, so much fun!

Restaurant Ciao Belli Breda - A new Italian restaurant Ciao Belli on the Grote Markt in Breda with a shared dining concept. Traditional recipes and a modern twist on Italian cuisine. Looks cozy and fun!

Copine Wine Bar - Copine what fun you are! This wine bar is located near the Great Church in Breda. Delicious wines and bites. I would go when you are in Breda.

Coffee Breda

Chatwick Coffee Roasters Breda- Of course, the charming Ginneken in Breda also has a nice coffee bar. You'll find speciality coffee bar Chatwick Coffee Roasters at the Nieuwe Ginnekenstraat. With a nice terrace outside and delicious homemade pastries (think almond croissants, cruffins and more), you'll definitely want to grab a coffee here. Chatwick also has its own coffee roastery.
