Townhouse Hotel The Hague

Townhouse Hotel The Hague is a stylish boutique hotel that feels more like a home away from home than a traditional city hotel. With its warm, welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful details, it’s a perfect choice for a weekend getaway, city break or work trip in the heart of The Hague.

Townhouse Hotel

Townhouse Hotel The Hague feels like a stylish living room in the heart of the city: warm, welcoming and wonderfully relaxed. Although the hotel has no fewer than 88 rooms (quite a number for a boutique hotel), its clever layout and homely atmosphere mean it never feels large or impersonal. It’s the kind of place that instantly invites you to slow down and linger a little longer. We stayed in a medium room and slept beautifully, wrapped in crisp white bed linen.

Location Townhouse Hotel The Hague

Located right in The Hague city centre on Bleijenburg, Townhouse Hotel The Hague is just a short walk from The Hague Central Station, making it an ideal base if you’re arriving by train or planning to explore the city on foot. Historic highlights such as the Binnenhof, as well as plenty of cafés, shops and cultural spots, are all nearby.

  • Address: Bleijenburg 1, 2511 VC Den Haag

  • Check-in: from 15:00

  • Check-out: until 11:00

If you’re arriving by car, there are several parking garages within walking distance of the hotel, with discounted options available nearby.

Hotel rooms Townhouse Hotel

Townhouse Hotel The Hague offers a range of comfortable and thoughtfully designed rooms, suitable for solo travellers, couples, families and business guests. All rooms are designed with comfort in mind and feature Auping beds, modern bathrooms with rain showers, free coffee and tea facilities, and a calm, minimalist interior style. Room types include:

  • Small Room: Ideal for solo travellers or short stays, compact yet comfortable.

  • Basic Room: A bright and practical room for two, perfect for a city break.

  • Medium Room: Slightly more spacious, giving you extra room to unwind.

  • Attic Room: Located on the top floor, offering charming views over the city rooftops.

  • Basement Room: Cozy rooms with skylights that let in natural light.

  • Family Room: Designed for families or small groups, with space for up to four guests.

Every room balances simplicity with warmth, ensuring a restful stay after a day in the city. We stayed in a medium room and had peaceful night off sleep without any noise or distraction.

Jolie Café Manger Townhouse Hotel The Hague

Food plays an important role at Townhouse Hotel The Hague. The hotel is home to Jolie Café Manger, a relaxed café and restaurant with a welcoming neighbourhood feel. Here, every visit feels effortless, whether you’re starting your day with breakfast, meeting a friend for a drink, or settling in for a few hours of work.

At Jolie Café Manger, you can enjoy a lovely breakfast, a proper cup of coffee with a slice of Limburgse vlaai, a leisurely apéritif, or a simple soup with a piece of bread on the house. The cosy atmosphere, thoughtful details, and central location all combine to make it the perfect base for a weekend in The Hague.

Breakfast, in particular, is served in the living-room-style setting and offers a fresh, satisfying start to the day, whether you’re heading out to explore the city or settling in for a workday.

The Townhouse Experience

What truly sets Townhouse Hotel apart is its focus on personal, genuine hospitality. Guests are welcomed with a warm cup of soup on arrival and receive a voucher for a cocktail at Bar Ink'd at Hotel Ald, located just around the corner.

The heart of the hotel is the communal living room, a lively yet relaxed space where guests and locals come together to work, relax, have a drink or enjoy a meal. Playful details and thoughtful design touches give the hotel plenty of character, making every stay feel personal and relaxed.
