Boutique Hotel Weesp is located in the heart of the historic fortified town of Weesp, a charming little village just 20 minutes away from Amsterdam.

The hotel is situated on the 1st and 2nd floors above Café Restaurant De Eendracht, in a part of the old Burgerweeshuis, which has stood on the Grote Plein for nearly 400 years. Many parts of the building have been preserved in their original state.

We were pleasantly surprised by this charming hotel, with its wonderfully calm and serene atmosphere, making it perfect for a romantic getaway. The town of Weesp is also surprisingly lovely, with its picturesque canals, streets, and alleys, cozy boutique shops, delightful restaurants, and a beer café housed in a former church.

Boutique Hotel Weesp is a small-scale boutique hotel with 9 luxurious rooms. Each room features soft, warm tones and natural materials, giving the hotel a serene, atmospheric, and comfortable feel. It’s the perfect spot for a slow-travel weekend.

The hotel offers different types of rooms: comfort, deluxe, superior, and triple rooms. Each room differs in size and design. We stayed in a beautiful Deluxe room with a view of De Oude Gracht. What a wonderful way to wake up! It was the ideal room for a weekend getaway, complete with a cozy seating area where you can relax, enjoy a cup of tea, or dive into a good book.

The rooms with views of the Grote Plein and De Oude Gracht feature beautiful vintage furniture. There are kingsize Nilson beds (super comfortable!) and amenities by Marie Stella Maris. There’s really no reason not to book.

Boutique Hotel Weesp operates without a reception and keys. You will receive your digital key via a link in an email. Using this link, you can open your room door with your phone. It’s very convenient, allowing you to come and go as you please. Everything works seamlessly. For breakfast, you simply roll out of bed and head to Café De Eendracht, a cozy café with a warm atmosphere, located on the ground floor of the hotel. We enjoyed a lovely slow morning until 11:00. What more could you ask for?
