In love with Bergen. In love with Zomerhuis de Tuynkamer. What a cozy cabin. From the moment you arrive, the owners Gerry and Sandra, make you feel very welcome.

The location of Zomerhuis de Tuynkamer is perfect. You'll find the cabin on the outskirts of the picturesque village Bergen, with a 10 minute walk to the village center and only a 10 minute drive to the seaside town Bergen aan Zee. If you bring your bikes, a beautiful path will bring you there.

If you are longing for a peaceful and quite weekend away, this romantic cabin with a Scandinavian look and feel has all the luxurious comfort you need to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

The stylish cottage is suitable for four people, 2 adults and 2 children (or upon request 3 adults). They are very accommodating, if you have any special needs just ask them. Inside the cottage you have everything you need. On the ground floor, you have the living room, a fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms. One master bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with a single bed and a cot for the little ones.

The next morning you wake up from the birds singing and the rooster crowing. Your coffee, fresh eggs and biological clementine juice are waiting for breakfast. From the living room you walk onto the veranda where you have a swing (wonderful idea) and several places to sit and relax. In the back of the garden you'll also find a picnic table? The wooden cabin is located in the back of the large garden of the owners but offers enough privacy because of the hedges and the kitchen garden.

It all makes you feel you want to stay for the week (or even longer). What a special place to stay. No wonder it gets booked up really quickly. We left feeling completely relaxed and calm again. Exactly what I expect from a weekend of slow travelling. I hope to be back soon.
